New additions to the Team Kicker family..

soo, what if alpine said they take u as a team? then what would u do
Nothing.

We used type-rs for barely half the year and people think thats all we are going to use forever.

Besides, alpine doesn't make NEARLY enough stuff that would benefit an SPL competitor. Kicker has a much better product line for the SPLer and all the accessories to boot.

On a side note, i doubt Alpine would be interested in an SPL team anyways. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Kicker is well known in dB drag and has always been a supporter of SPL teams.

i've been running kicker since before it was called kicker.... so you know where i stand //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

besides, any company that will stand behind their product, whether it was bought authorized or the flea market, is a company i want standing behind me. it really says a lot about the quality of their gear.

The only ray of light is the type R, which may be eclipsed by the L7.

The HU's aren't what they used to be, and the amps are nothing spectacular... nothing big enough to be useful in the lanes at least.

Perhaps for an SQ/show car.

why? expanding the market into something you are not really known for is expensive and risky
amen, we stepped into the wire business, and that was already 'ground' market, no pun intended. But when finals rolls around for MECA, I'd like to come to give the product support and backup's which from time to time is necessary. Some major manufactures won't do this like the used to, but we have always been there for USACi/IASCA/dbDrag. And if you can have all the members there to give installation, moral suport, it makes the show go so much smoother. Also, if you have anything go down at the show, since at these events your pushing all your gear to it's limits, it's nice to walk to the manufacture area/tweak and tune booth and get a new driver/amplifier.

As far as output, the L7 and CVX, the CVX will also do very well ported. Just the CVX will do very well smaller sealed.

Just for an example, another Team Kicker member, had two 05 L7 12's with a modded KX12001 to each. Won 1st in his class at USACi World Finals. He helped 5 cars at finals, adn each car, in each class took 1st. He dropped in the 06 L7's and went down some. So we talked and he made a few nclosure mods, and was able to strap two modded KX12001's to each driver. Minimum was 3400 watts to each, and they are doing awesome. Did a 159.0 in outlaw last night, and consistant after 15 hard burps. So there is a show this weekend, he will post final numbers. But pretty good for just two 12's.

Again, mentioning what they are going to run, and what works best for them is strickly up to them, but we appreciate them entirely, either way.

yes, I LOVE this stuff, plus the fuse holders, connectors are off the top....
The MAXI/ANL fuse holder the the tits. I used it at MECA finals, and i'll never use another fuse holder unless i make one. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

But for my daily driver setup, its awesome.

That'd be great!

I just wanted to say thanks to all for all the great comments. I hope all of us can back up all the expectations. I think we can.Cant wait for the season to get booming.
X2 The support from Kicker and combination of Team Kicker & Phat Hertz (Still love the sound of that) is a great addition and we're look forward to the seasons ahead together, but the respect & support from our peers amongst the community is something that I'm flattered to see......... I promised my self I wouldn't do this //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif :D //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif, I know that we will all work our hardest at the season ahead.
