why? expanding the market into something you are not really known for is expensive and risky
amen, we stepped into the wire business, and that was already 'ground' market, no pun intended. But when finals rolls around for MECA, I'd like to come to give the product support and backup's which from time to time is necessary. Some major manufactures won't do this like the used to, but we have always been there for USACi/IASCA/dbDrag. And if you can have all the members there to give installation, moral suport, it makes the show go so much smoother. Also, if you have anything go down at the show, since at these events your pushing all your gear to it's limits, it's nice to walk to the manufacture area/tweak and tune booth and get a new driver/amplifier.
As far as output, the L7 and CVX, the CVX will also do very well ported. Just the CVX will do very well smaller sealed.
Just for an example, another Team Kicker member, had two 05 L7 12's with a modded KX12001 to each. Won 1st in his class at USACi World Finals. He helped 5 cars at finals, adn each car, in each class took 1st. He dropped in the 06 L7's and went down some. So we talked and he made a few nclosure mods, and was able to strap two modded KX12001's to each driver. Minimum was 3400 watts to each, and they are doing awesome. Did a 159.0 in outlaw last night, and consistant after 15 hard burps. So there is a show this weekend, he will post final numbers. But pretty good for just two 12's.
Again, mentioning what they are going to run, and what works best for them is strickly up to them, but we appreciate them entirely, either way.
