You dont have to talk about his wife and **** man. That is a bit uncalled for. This is about the subwoofer and the subwoofer only.

Everyone likes to hear about new products among the market, and with a product made by a nice, high quality company, you all are letting opinion of a particular forum sway your opinion of the driver itself. Maybe you dont like the dustcap, I understand, I probably wouldnt want a dustcap that says CA.com on it but it still looks to be a hell of a subwoofer regardless.

And for those who said it doesnt impress, what exactly gets you going then? Yes some driver can handle more power but does that make them more impressive?

its not just that it has SMD on it in a tacky fashion...i wont be running that much power to a speaker....ever. there are many companies that have a sub that can handle that much power and look better. and who is this SMD character and why should his 'sub' be in my car/truck?

looks like this woofer is going to be able to handle the power better w/ the 4in coil, and i'm sure basket is merely used because it is more suitable with a coil of that size.

old aa as in avalanches? (sq sub, 1/3 the rms, not in the same league) havoks? (which aren't really old, but the only AA sub i can think of that could compare to this) just based on the motor, 4 inch coil and rms, this should be louder than both.

i'm guessing it's intended as a piss loud daily driver sub, along the lines of the tc-5400 (with no lms)? no sq queen for sure, but i'm sure its no 1 note wonder.
