New 2500 or old 2500??

OK I need an amp to power two 15" L7s. I am deffinetly going to go with Orion since I had a good experience with it the first time. I was wondering should I get a the new model (2006) HCCA D5000 for $650 or the old model (also BNIB) for $535.

Both are brand new in the box.

well rite now, i'd keep the old 1, cuz i kno wha it can do and its limits and i kno it inside and out. the new has new extras on it, that i hope doesnt affect its performance, but ill have 1 to test soon to compare to the 05 model. but as of now, i'd take the 05'

i always go with a product that has been around for a while, the new one might have a desighn flaw that has not yet been discoverd?

Save your money and get last years version. Its bound to be the exact same amp with a different heatsink.

Actually the amp PCB may be revised since the old version was 27" long and the new is 22" .. But most people like to go with the tried and true route.
