whats so wrong with looks...i got audiobahn shit cause it was my first system i put together...but i like how it sounds and they actually do preform under all that shiny chrome...i didnt buy them for looks..but anyways..i dont see why people think its bad to have a little flash to stuff...personally i think the JL W7...looks the tightest out of everything...and thats really plain

I am worried about performance and I know the KX amps preform along with the SOLO X and L7s, so if I am worried about performance per dollar Kicker is up there with the best, regardless of looks

Yeah, i dont think looks matter too much, but ****, those are ugly. I guess its not a bad idea to go that route tho bc to ppl who really care about audio, and are buying kicker, they wont care how it looks. But to those who kno nothing, the bling bling effect the kickers have may attract the crowd of kids looking for that in thier subs. However, i think they make the subs cheap-looking, like a sell-out. but i kno kicker is a high-end company, and can get crazy loud //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wacky.gif.cf4a48f9e6dfe9504ffd2c946fd2f340.gif Even tho i dont care for the SQ all that much.

the new designs are growing on me but i hate those new round sub grills... if i blow my cvr's i'm going to take em back to the shop and request the new ones and keep my old school "claw" grills .... i haven't been lucky enough to blow em yet... but then again i'm not trying to...lol... maybe i should break out my planet audio tt2250d.... lol.... the other day i thought i was going to burn the voice coils up because they were frozen stiff and i didn't realize it for about 15 mins.... so i killed power to my sub amp and waited for the cab to warm up...
