Never thought this would happen

So I placed a large order from http://www.onlinecarstereo.com a week ago. a Phoenix gold Xenon 400.1 was included in the order to power a Image Dynamics 12D4 in a Obcon vented 1.5 ft^3 box. http://www.cardomain.com/item/OBCGZ31812 . Well apperantly the 400.1 on is on back order and they are shipping me a 600.1 at no cost!!! But now I am afraid this amp is too much for the sub, espescially in that box. What do you guys think?

Which 12D4? the IDMAXD4, IDQ12D4, or 12D4?

The IDMAX will be fine but the 12D4 have fun blowing that..the IDQ...eh...still pushing over its limit...youd litteraly have to turn the gains down completely...u could sell the 600.1 and buy the 400.1 again..or something

Ok, well hopefully the pioneers 860mp outputs dont clip the amp... I have never heard/used these phoenix gold xenon amps.
