Need your opinion...

Im doing a false floor install with 1 15" and my spare tire compartment is off to the left of the trunk. Its going to be hard to fit a box in it and have the speaker still look centered to the trunk... Could i just deaden the spare tire compartment and use that as the inside of the box and build up the outside on top with wood to finish the box? Or would the bare metal make the sub sound retarded? After its deadned of course?

Need some opinions....

Why not leave it off-centered, and build a grill to go over it?

my plan was to have the sub centered and the amp back further in the floor centered with the seats... i think it would look ghey not being centered? And it will have plexiglass over the sub

edit: and even then its going to be hard to fit a 15" because the spare tire compartment being round

im just going to deaded it and use the compartment as the box..i talked to another guy that done it and said it would work fine...build log coming soon

I know how to fiberglass some..thats way too much work
