need to wire an re se to an mtx 6500d

Wire both + terminals to the + on the amp, and both negative terminals to the - on the amp. Basic parallel wiring to get the 2 ohm load you need.

****it. got beaten. but i have a diagram //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

anywho, my 10" re SE is bumping QUITE HARD in its 1.2cubic foot enclosure @37hz (well, its not 1.2 yet, nor is it 37hz yet, but it hits really hard none the less)

PORT IT! AND TAKE PICTURES!

so i should only hook it to the +and - on one of the amps two outputs. what i mean is the amp has a + and neg. for one sub and a + and - for another sub. do i use the + on one and the - on the other?

it said mono,

so go ahead and bridge the two channels lLIKE THIS

thats my amp, and its mono with '2 channels' i believe they do this because if you have a 4ohm load, you hook it to channel 1, and a 2 or 1 ohm load- you bridge 1 and 2. makes it easy to wire (i think)

so bridge just as that picture is, and you should be fine. do you know what the voice coil configuration is on your sub? dual voice coil 4ohm? dual voice coil 2 ohm? if its 2 ohm (and this is possible), then your amp might melt thru your trunk and into your gastank blowing your car into oblivion.

na, jk. the amp will prolly turn off- or break.

so find that out for sure.

thats mono amp, the channels are just wired in parallel inside the amp. It doesnt have 2 channels

Just wire the +s together, -s together, make one run to the amp.

Hey, I have a Jensen VM9510 in dash dvd player too. I am tryin to install amp and subs but i dont think that the rca's are right. seeing as you hooked it up, which RCA outputs did you use from the dvd player. Thanks alot
