Hello, As stated in the title, I need to upgrade my alternator to a high output version. My problem is that I know very little of my options or what size to get and where to get it.
I will provide as much info as I recall, if there is any variable information I am missing please ask and I will post.
My car 2004 Hyundai Tiburon
Current alt: Stock (90a?)
Amps: 3100watts +\-
Speakers/subs: 1750 watts +\-
Batteries: three (3) Kinetik 1400hc
Big 3 @ 0 AWG
Misc electronics in car-
1600w power inverter
Eclipse avn 52D 7" screen
Ps2/Wii interchangeable
Two (2) 12.2" visor screens
Two (2) 7" headrest screens
Various LED lights throughout inside and outside of car
Obviously, not everything is powered on all at once. However, during car shows the vast majority of them will be one simultaneously.
The highest output alternator I have found for my car (online) is @ 240amps, will this be sufficient or will I need more amperage?
