I have 2 subs that RMS 300 watts and I was going to put an amp that RMS 150 watts on two channels at 2 ohms and I was wondering if it would hurt the speakers or the amp?
Thanks,

yup thats correct. But underpowering them alone does not kill the speakers. its the voltage spikes from the amplifiers peaking that does. So if you cant hear the subs because the amp isnt powerful enough, then you turn it up and send the amp clipping away.. that is what kills the speakers. so get a more powerfull amp that you dont have to turn up all the way to achieve the volume that you desire. then you are all kewl.oh god, not this again.
When my volume is low, I'm underpowering my speakers.
I'll leave you with that...
yeah where did you hear that.. cuz your deffinetly talking out your @ss. Thats not true at all.Well Vovlvobot, if you dont give the subs enough power, you might get a short and could potentiakky set the car in fire... My advice, give it double its rated power.
