Okay I am not to familiar with putting together a sound system. If I have 4ohm speakers I have been told that you can't bridge them but I have my 2 10in 4ohm speakers bridged. What is right? Also How would I go about hooking 4 speakers to one amp or should I buy another amp?

You can bridge two or more speakers no matter the impedance. Chances are you are running them at 2ohms. You can add 2 more if you want. Depending on the amp, if you have a 2 channel, you may want to wire two subs in parallel to each channel giving each channel a 2ohm load...that is if your amp is 2ohm stable. If your amp is not 2ohm stable or your running a mono amp then you can wire them to create a 4ohm load. (The + of the amp to the + of subs A and B. The - of the amp to the - of subs C and D. The - of sub A to the + of sub C. The - of sub B to the + of sub D.) If your running a mono amp and it is 1ohm stable them you can run all four subs in parallel to present a 1ohm load to the amp.

Something else I have been wondering. You have to have a port for the speaker to work correct or incorrect. If it is incorrect how do you hook them up. Can you run a wire straight from the amp to the sub. I am totally new at this stuff. What is parallel?
