not worth it.. especially since then newer box's seem to be problem prone..

The newer consoles with HDMI are much less likely to RRoD than the older ones, and people have spotted a couple systems with the Jasper chipsets in the wild, those should supposedly get rid of it. I've also heard they've been switching the disc drives, which in that case you may be right.

But no, that is not a very good deal unless it is an Elite or a Premium with the 60 gig hard drive.

Check CL you can get one for half that price with about half as many games.
