I love lamp.
I have an old computer (toshiba satellite m35x-s309 with windows xp), that hasn't been used in a few years, it runs incredibly slow and is full of old songs/pics/videos/games/software, about 5 expired spyware programs etc etc, its currently shutting down and installing 51 updates lol, ive erased most of the songs, pictures and uninstalled most of the programs but im really wanting to do a full wipe and take it back to the original manf condition. I've done it before with my vista computer but I had the os discs to reload it on there after installing a new hard drive.
Is there a way to reload xp without having/buying the discs? Like a download somewhere, maybe a torrent somewhere? I don't care about having losing anything left on the computer, I just want it to run faster.
If I install a bigger ram, how much would this help the performance?
