I have an 05 4runner limited with the JBL sythesis package. I have redone the stereos in all of my cars and now it is time to do this one. I am not 100% sure on what is good these days. I have always used Pioneer Headunits, Eclipse/Memphis Subs and PG/Memphis Amps. I am looking for an indash, mids/highs, rear door speakers and a single 12" sub with amp . Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Man, don't waste your money on that 13w7, 1000/1 combo.

What are you looking for in a HU?

What are you looking for in your sub setup? SPL? SQ?

Give us some info - also, even though you mentioned those brands as to what you usual lean towards, are you open to all brands?

Want everything to be new? Help us out more so we can inform you properly.

Navigation unit

Loud and clear. Not looking to compete, but still want it to get loud.

Open to anything.

New or used.

For the Nav Unit, you wanna go big?

Love the Avic D2, friends got it in his car. You never posted price concerns so I went with this Nav unit.

For the subs, there are many, many options - but my personal favorites are the Fi Q's, havent heard near all the loud SQL subs - but really like these woofers. Get the Dual 2's so you can wire the two subs to 2 ohms to get all of the amp's rms (2500 @ 2 ohms).

And for the amp, I'd suggest the Kicker ZX2500.1, set yours gains respecitively and these babies'll sing.

Box around 5 cubes, tuned to 30-34hz, it will absolutely slam the lows. (For the 12s)

Mind you, this setup is on the expensive side - so matters your budget. But you can get the amp used for around 800, Nav unit used for 700-800, and subs about 300 for both used.
