Need to find an amp ASAP and can't decide on local or net?

I am dead in the water until I get a replacement. I need a two channel 150-200Wx2@4 Ohm. My audio place wants $450 for a Kicker KX550.2. I can get it on E-Bay for $270 shipped //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif At the Best Buy, Circuit City, etc... they have Eclipse, Alpine, Rockford and Sony. I am leaning towards getting one local rather than wait for an E-Bay piece but the cost of the local ones floor me. Circuit City wants $399 for a Kicker KX450.2 that will do the job. Same one on E-Bay is $180 shipped. Should I look into one of these local ones and pay the piper or just go for an E-Bay unit??

I've got a BNIB Avionixx AXA 400.2 that'll do what you ask.

Also, try Ubid. lots of kicker on there.

Not really since this one crapped out in less than a month. I am told Kickers fail often so why I would want another is kind of crazy. What brand in the local stores is good? Or for that matter on E-Bay? Maybe I will try something else!

You can negotiate with your local dealers and talk them down in price.

I tried. On the 550 he told me list is $699 and I can get it for $450. I would rather buy from them but **** if I will pay 2X the cost. Guess they aren't interested in making money off a sale since this will sway me from getting it from them.
