Need to design a rack to hold a bunch of foam and crap.

Well I need to design a rack to hold a bunch of foam, vinyl, carpet, etc. A bunch of covering materials for audio boxes basically.

The pieces of foam are about 2'x8' and various rolls of 4' wide vinyls and stuff. Right now it's just a pile sitting on the shop floor and it looks like shit.

I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas, maybe what you use or just feeling creative. I really need to get it cleaned up. I dont want to extend too far from the wall and have probably 10' of width to deal with.

if they are on rolls why dont you just have pegs sticking out of the wall

Find some angle brackets to screw to the wall (have them come out 2' to accomidate the foam), put some 1x12's or somethin as a 'floor' for the shelves so crap dosen't fall through and call it quits.

Simple, cheap, effective.

that's hours of maticulous design and weeks of testing with different groups of all ages, races and both sexes.

yne: I was thinking the same thing for the vinyl and stuff, but stacking foam behind it isn't going to work. The idea is to get all of the stuff off of the floor basically. Good idea bro, let me know if you can think of anything for the foam. Thanks all
