Ive got a Pioneer P3000IB

It handles 22RMS X 4..

I dont want to run another amp, i just want non-stock speakers, something that gets louder..

I want to use the wire thats already there for the stock speakers, just change the actual speaker..

Ive found these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/KENWOOD-KFC-1651S-6-5-160W-DUAL-CONE-SPEAKERS-NEW-PAIR_W0QQitemZ140276309029QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item140276309029&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A15|39%3A1|240%3A1318#ebayphotohosting

for 50$ for all 4..

My size needs to be 6.5, and no more then 5" deep..

Willing to spend 60$ Max.. for new stuff.

Product Features

o Speaker : 6.5" (160mm) Dual Cone Speaker System

o Peak Power : 160 Watts

o Rated Input Power : 35 Watts

o Frequency Response : 35Hz-20kHz

o Sensativity : 92 dB

o Mounting Depth : 1-11/16" (43mm)

o Grilles and Template Included

The seller can't spell.

They look like every other co-axial in that price range. :\

I'm not sure about the difference in sound quality vs. others. However, I just yanked a pair of Pioneer Co-Axials, and they don't sound too bad. But they don't sound good either.

Whats the difference betweek Components and Coaxials..

Ive read around that going with Component speakers will require another amp, but they sound better.. i dont want to do another amp, i just want to directly replace teh stock speakers.

and if i do get the Kenwood speakers above, will i need anything addtional to take to the installers (circuit city perhaps)..like harnesses.. if so what kind of stuff will i need for a 2008 Mitsubishi Raider, Aka the 2005+ Dodge Dakota.. No Alpine System.

well component speakers have a seperate tweeter and woofer. coaxials share an axis, and thus are mounted togther like those kenwoods there. components have better imaging. they dont' necessarily have to be amplified to sound nice.

frankly those kenwoods look bad, the tweeter in particular. instead of changing all four speakers, I would just replace the front two with something a little better. you don't necessarily have to get components, but those kenwood speakers will likely sound only marginally better then stock.

something like this http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6502_Pioneer+TS-G1641R.html# would still be inexpensive but sound a lot better then those kenwoods
