Need to Buy a new skill saw (ideas?)

Well my saw went out it was an old one but i need to get a new decent saw. Does anyone have a circular Saw that they like ? I need some ideas and brand names for a good saw from homedepot walmart or lowes.

i've had good luck with hitachi gear, dont know about hand saws though.

DeWalt, if you don't mind spending a little more to have good tools.

GMC. My dad's is solid magnesium construction (light and strong) and has been left in the rain numerous times by him and keeps on truckin no problem. It also has a lazer guide which is really nice. Has plenty of torque to turn the blade.

All of our power tools are Dewalt, can be kinda high, but quality tools. From our experiences.

If your going to use it on ocasion to cut up MDF get something like

Ryobi

7-1/4 In. 12 Amp Circular Saw

From Home Depot

I have the next model up and it has worked flawlessly for over 2 years, with weekly use.

If your going to use it alot, buy a DeWalt. It will last alot longer.

lol ive got an old *** (early 90's) black and decker that goes through 3/4 mdf like a hot knife thru butter
