Need tips/advice

Hey so im new and starting to get into the car audio stuff which is probably what you hear from a lot of people and so on so im going to make this breif.

First off i would like to say that i really don't know anything and am having a hard time understanding stuff like ohm's, voice coils, ect.

But soon i am getting a new car and want some good subs.

Budget: around $500-$700 for everything(amp, subs, head unit, ect)

1. what all do i need? do i need new car speakers or can i just add in the subs?

2. Can anyone give me some helps on the terms.

3. What is your recommended setup for that budget? If possible i would like 2 x 12" subs if that can fit into my budget.

I will say my new car will be a sedan so i don't know how much space i will have but i would imagine anything in that budget would fit.

probably leaning towards the new side becuase i don't have some good experiances with used items but im open to buying used.
