Need thoughts on new 12" Type R in .95 sealed box with 20 oz of fill...

I just found out that I won a SWR-1243D was wondering how you all think it would do in a .95 sealed box with 20 oz. of Poly Fill and 600w going to it. The sub wont be here for another week but trying to decide if I want to open it and give it a try or sell it.

Step 1: Sell the Type R, the Epic is much better from what I could see. There's really no need to have another 12 just sitting around in a sealed box when you have one in the same power range.

Step2: Use the money to get yourself a better amp like an AQ1200D or something.

Thanks for the input. Yeah I love my Epic...but I always have that "what if/ what would" mindset.

My plan was to buy a better amp with the money from the Type R if I chose to sell it.

Do you know how much the AQ1200d runs?

i agree with above. the epic is a very good, efficient sub and the type r isnt on the same level. maybe upgrade you amp or your aelectrical a bit if u need to just so everything is a bit more stable. never hurts
