I need to add an inverter to a 2007 Silverado. I want it to be able to do everything, TV, Xbox, whatever I need for tailgating - all with the car off. I have space for an extra battery up front, I'm guessing that would be best.
So what type of battery would be best for this type of setup? Marine? Regular? Also will I need a battery isolator for some reason? I'm guessing this battery will go straight to the alternator along with the other one, but this one will only really be used when tailgating. If needed, where can I find a battery isolator online?
