need sum friendly advice

so i have a 7 cube ported box for 3 12"s as of right now, in my avatar.. but the box is empty...i had 3 comp vrs in it powered by a power 1500.. it was decent, but the subs seemed kinda weak.. now should i try 3 better subs or upgrade to 2 15"s in that box? im working with 1500rms and 7cubes... list sum subs that will work with and must come to 2ohm load

What is the tuning frequency of the box?

its should be around 32 and give or take 6.8- 7 internal

1500W for 3 subs doesn't seem like very much, maybe that was your problem, or are VRs only capable of 500W RMS?

Cover the top with a piece of MDF (to cover up the old holes). Cut a single 18" hole or two 15" holes and slap some rL-ps in it.
