need suggestions...

im starting to piece together my system for my focus. But i dont know what i should do as far as subs...i want it to be pretty loud (atleast140dbs) but i also want it to sound good. im leaning towards 2 12" type R's ported on a directed audio 1500D. but i was curious if anyone had any better suggestions for subs. size and # of subs doesnt matter, i have about 6ft^3 to work with. id like to keep the price of subs around $300.

I purchased the same system yesterday but with only one Type R and will be running about 1000 watts to it. Only problem is between the amp. I can't find what the difference is between the Directed 1500D or the 1100D (both have the same power ratings). I have yet to receive the items though, will let you know how it is when I get it all.

juss the 1500d is the newer model. i'd get the 1100d over the 1500d. new directed amps are garbage. the older models are niceee. or 2 solve it all juss get an orion 1200d. now u talkin real clean power.
