Need suggestions...

The 13W7 is an amazing driver and already has a ton of output if applied correctly. Why not work with the W7 as you already have it and you're not going to gain anything by going with another one of the drivers mentioned. Multiple drivers yes, again applied correctly, will be a solution to your output problem, but not necessarily sound better.
What is the exact application it is in now?
x3

I've heard a 13W7 on a 1000/1 that sounded immaculate. I've heard a 13W7 off of a 1000/1 that sucked... same car, different box, back to back comparison. Give your box specs that you have, I'm sure one of us can figure out the problem.

why would you sale your 13w7 and the 1000/1?

are you crazy that's a perfect combination and if you're having problems with sq its because of the box or something else but not the sub

downfiring 2.25 cubes sealed. i just dont like it though. id rather spend less money and get "easier" output

maybe i just **** a building boxes or something. that has to be it if my 13w7 sounds like shit. but then again my L7 box sounded awesome. i honestly think the 13w7 was just a bad choice. ive had other setups in prefab boxes that sounded better. i highly doubt that i could have ****ed up the box THAT bad.

oh and another thing, i think im getting rid of my new 9855, its such a *****. and theres no **** options for EQ and stuff. the eq on it sux ***.

Sealed, that 13W7 should sound awesome... Can you explain what you don't like about the SQ of the setup?

Also... it would be really easy to gain output by porting that sucker.

well the sound quality sux. it sounds sloppy and inaccurate. it sounds "wet" as described in a post i saw earlier today. it makes no sense cause i build this box rock solid, i used polyfil, 3/4 MDF, compressed weather striping around the hole. theres no reason for it to sound so crappy

That simply means your box is too big or leaking. Try putting some small blocks of wood in there and take the polyfill out. It should sound tighter and less fat.

Every sealed W7 I've heard sounded extremely tight yet had the ability to extend VERY low.

Interesting... Something isn't right on the box somewhere then. Try this, change the placement of the sub and angle of firing. I think you may be getting some cancellation issues.

JL reccs 1.875 cu ft NET for the sealed 13W7. He is over by quite a bit and then some with the polyfill. That coupled with the W7's specs are probably giving him and extremely low Q alignment... making it sound overly fat and sloppy (also lacking output)..
