Need suggestions for a good 1000 wrms sub

I am looking for a good balance of sql/spl in a 1000 wrms 12 inch sub. I am most likely going to get a rd 1000.1 or similar amp to power this sub. I like alot of bass and probably will be porting it to help out. I looked at the re sx and fi q, which look solid but are not sure . Other than that, I really haven't looked into too many other subs and was hoping I could get some advice. A short list of a few brands/models that I should consider would be great. Also, I am probably not upgrading power on the amp because I don't want to take on that many electrical upgrades, so I will need something that sounds good off 1000 watts rms. I would like to get a good bang for my buck, but will pay a little extra if it's worth it. Thanks in advance.

If you want a little more SQ and a little less SPL the Mag V4 will work great on 1000 RMS and will impress with its SQ and only needs a 1 cube box sealed. If you are more towards SPL but want decent SQ the Fi Q gets my vote.

I'm trying to keep it under $300. I looked at the rd elite, which seems good, but a little worried it might not have enough output. The havoc might need a little more than 1000 watt amp, but am not sure. I would really appreciate some more recommendations now that you have general idea of my price range.

The Fi Q is the way to go then, plenty of putput and should sound pretty good.

JBL GTi series II. They are in your price range, and sound phenominal! They are rated at 700W rms, but supposed to take 4000W peak. On their site, they show an excursion graph for the GTi at 3000W.
