Need subwoofer input

Wanted to ask you guys I have a chance to buy a pair of 1512's DD in a ported box or buy a 2515 in a ported box which one would you guy think I'm going to get the best sound out of ? I would be running it with a jl5001 amp off a stock head unit through a audiocontrol loc2 trying to get the most out of what little I have thanks for your input ahead of time

It all depends on the boxes. Do you have pictures of both? If either has prefab boxes stay away

Think they r prefab boxes but r right now I'm just trying to get some good equipment then worry about getting a good box later if I can ever find a good installer around me but that would b the last thing after I get what I'm looking for

I'd personally go with the 2 1512's. More cone area and more power handling in case you upgrade amps later on

Incriminator, Tantric, Sundown, AudioTechnix, the list goes on and on.. There's tons of "underground" companies that make products much better than the mainstream brands like Kicker. But DD is good quality.

he forgot Skar and C2 audio has very good reviews for inexpensive subs $129 free shipping, you can also look at PSI, SSA, FI, it really depends on your budget and what amp and what electrical you have
