Need subs for a specific enclosure

I have an old JL Powerwedge similar to this

CS210RG-W3v3-2 - Car Audio - Subwoofer Systems - PowerWedge

Its for 2 10" W3s . Both those subs are done with and I still have the enclosure. The dimensions of the box I have are a little different than the one linked. From my own measurements, they are w=31, d=14 h=8.75 d2=8.5. There are separate chambers for the subs (divided in the middle).

I really wanted to try something different than using w3s again. So my question is if there are any other subs out there that would be perfect for that specific enclosure? Either spl or sq, and price doesn't matter for the moment. As far as power, Ill use whatever will be needed. I just want to know what subs out there would match the enclosure.

thanks

Bump for any suggestions?

I found more info on the older subs and enclosure. I found the old jl catalog. The enclosure is 32.25x 14.5x 12.75. The older 10" w3 were rec for .60-.90 in a sealed enclosure. Any subs that would match this enclsoure??

Go onto sonicelectronix and look at the subs. You can filter the search by recommended box type either sealed or vented and then just look at whatever catches your eye and in the description for each sub the recommended box size is in there. What is your budget?

I don't think you will get much help here for the most part. What you are doing is a little "backwards" of what is supposed to be done lol. Not to mention most here do not care for JL enclosures.

As far as power, I was looking at maybe 1000wrms to push them. If the subs require more power, I can do that. I just spent a lot on a system for a new truck. So I was going to just throw some subs in this box and get an amp for an older car to play with, nothing really major.

The Dcons look good also, especially for the price. As far as the dimensions of the box, will they work with maybe 1000 watts pushing them? I see that they're 4ohms, so I would need a 1ohm stable amp.

As far as dayton ho's, where can I find them? I looked at Dayton audios website and cant find the HO model, or am I looking at the wrong site? edit: Im assuming they are the Dayton Reference model?

thanks again
