im confused with these subs they all look good for me any help

Skar Audio ZVX-15v2 15" 1500RMS Dual 2 Ohm $489.95

SKAR Audio TXL-15 2500RMS Dual 2 Ohm 479.99

SoundQubed HDC4 -15 2000rms Dual 2 Ohm $429.00

SoundQubed HDC3 15 1500rmsDual 2 Ohm $299.00

go with the AA havoc. its 1500 watts rms AND its within your budget. and its ascendant audio, that enough seals the deal
do you have reasoning behind making AA sound like the "end all be all" ? He would be just fine with the HDC3 15. Also the Hdc3 15 is $152 dollars cheaper

why u prefer ascendant audio AA havoc15 on Hdc3 15 ? i found 1250 rms & 2500 rms only in ssa
they are in the same power class, hdc3 15 is $152 cheaper, thats money you spend on upgrading something else

i think you will be fine the hdc3 for cheaper, It will handle plenty of power.

--The Zvx's are good subs, i just hear of some failing while taking alittle more then rated.

--The TXL to me isnt worth the extra money.

-- The Hdc4 would be my choice ig going into the $400+ range. It has a 4" coil, so thats a deal maker for me seeing the other options are 3" voice coils.

i back Soundqubed because they make very budget friendly equipment and its built with good quality. They perform very well, and are very underrated subs.

They do sound a lot better SQ wise than the HDC3s More bandwidth from the start rather than relying on an enclosure designed around sound quality. Loudness they will be the same but I do like the sound signature from Ascendant audio subs, reminds me of my old Zcon but with more SQ. Not saying the HDC3 sounds bad or anything(waaaay far from it), most normal people wont notice the difference but with a discerning ear for bass, AA subs sounds really sweet.

OP, If you want to maximize output from an HDC3, you'd want at least 2000 rms + on tap. A soundqubed Q 2200.1D. Whether you get a 15 or a 12 would depend on how big your trunk is. We need max dimensions in Depth X height X Width, measure it out if you want proper recommendations. Its the box that gets you loud and good sounding. If you dont have space for a proper subwoofer enclosure, your bass will sound like crap and it wont get loud.
