yeah...the audioque looks like a good sub...I had a 12w7 hooked up to one 1000/1 for about 8 months and it blew on me so thats why I wanted a sub with atleast 1000w rms...so 2 ohm it is...thanx

I know this is off topic but I have a orion 8004 for my mids n highs...I have 4 dayton 6in 4ohm and 2 pioneer 6x9's hooked up to the amp and when I have the radio on for like 10-15min with the volume at 20/40 the amp shuts off and it gets hot as hell....why do u guys think it does this???

Would a box built to 12w7 specs be ok for the hd3?

no...port is to small....

if it's the jl spec than it has like a 1 1/2" port...

definitely build ya a new box with something more like a 3" port and you will notice a difference..

I did that for a buddy of mine and it made a huge difference...

You COULD use it...but won't get full potential out of the AQ's...

they like space just like dd bc they are made by the son of the owner...

it's not hard to get together for yourself.....

basic woodworking...

if your lookin for a place close by to you, you will just have to ask someone on the froum that lives around by where you live...
