Need Sub recommendation!

Okay, here is what I've got so far going in to my car:

DEH-P860MP

CDT EF-61

Phoenix Gold X200.4

I'm definitely going for SQ here, so I need a good recommendation on what subwoofer to get. Brand and Model but also should I go for a 10" or 12"? Should I opt for sealed or ported for the enclosure? Doh, both excellent questions I some how forgot to include the answers to in the original post. The amp I listed is going to power everything. I'm not a bass monkey, heh. As for budget, I guess in the $200-300 range? It's the last piece of my system really so I just need a sub that will compliment the rest of the pieces and be on par with them quality wise.

The new MTX line does rather well. If you are interested I have my 12 in my signature up for grabs. It was in a ported enclosure and I recieved alot of compliments on how well it sounded. Heard one in a sealed enclosure too, sounded good aswell

Well your not going to be pushing much power for your subs with that amp powering your whole system, so i suggest you get an 10 or 12 pg octane zr sub. I have 4 of them, and lets just say you dont sit in my car full volume. I run mine in a ported box, and the sq is incredible. Lows are very nice, and they sound great. The definately killed the set of infinity kappas I used to own a couple years ago.

They are some GREAT subs, and require a small amount of power.

what about getting 1 12 inch shiva and porting it? it should be under your budget....

the JL and Shiva would fit that bill, and do very nice sealed.
