WHat's a good stereo system for room that's under $100 bucks ???3 to 5 changer preffered. My aiwa stereo doesnt read Cds no more so need something cheap for x-mas.

For $100, your choices are going to be pretty limited.

What model number was your aiwa cause mine did the same thing, so i still use reciever but i had a single cd player and just used it, plugged in rcas and put it on video/aux mode when i want to play a cd

Go on ebay and get a used stereo receiver for less than $50. Then buy a decent pair of bookshelf speakers for around $50. Then you can hook up a portable CD player to it with RCA's and a Y adapter. This should sound better than any of those pathetic boom box type systems with $0.50 drivers and $2.00 amps.

My model is the Cx-NaJ14 I got it about 4 years ago and really abuse the shit out of it and I also play it in video/aux mode from my PS2. I just want a new basic stereo nothing mindblowing since I preffer listenting to music while driving then when I'm home. One question which is better company for stereos Magnavox or RCA ?????
