let me rephrase...i want a subwoofer that i can hear in a store or in person...i can hear Fi, Alpine, Kicker, Diamond audio, JL and so on.
I dont want SSA, RE, TREO because I cant hear them in person. I dont want to buy something blind.

you can hear Fi in a store but not RE or TREO? wow fi is more under the radar than both of those. and fi and RE are both top of the line.

will the single 15" be good enough for the zx1000, and do i get the dual one or 2 ohm q?

D1 will get you to a 2 ohm load, which is what i think you need.

Personally i wouldnt get the Q for that power, id get the SSD, but thats just me.

I had a 15" Q on a Alpine MRD-1000 (birthsheet was 1182 @ 2ohm) and the Q was dieing for more...

theres a local audio store i knw had them, but they order them only by their need. When i was at the store, they had them for a guy and let me listened to them. They havnt carried the RE
