im so undecided on what im going to run on the sub channel of the 550.3 when i get it. its rated to put out around 400wrms @ 2 ohm.

im trying not to spend over $100.

id like a 12" so im not taking up much space.

and id like whatever it is to be able to be put in both sealed and ported without sounding like poo.

origonally i was set on an idqv3 but im too broke at the moment. then ive seen the mb quart sub - http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=3170 . but ive been reading about how they can only be sealed. since ive read that , im clueless.

help. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

12 " funky pup extremez, i heard they get mad deebees
go for a 10 and get a kicker cvx, those are pretty good

no pupz for me.

id like to get a 12" and ive never really had a thing for kicker subs. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

ive seen that , and thought about it alot. but i dont really see myself running eD. ive never owned any of thier stuff , but ive seen some of the bs people go through dealing with them and id rather not.

i knew i should of bought a maw 12 for a time like this. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

i was also looking at the re sr's and se's (even though theyre out of my price range). how would the se's do with that little power? input on the sr's?

hmmm... im trying to think maybe hifonics has some cheaper 12's that are halfway decent i think I read about a guy getting some for free cuz of his sponsorship but they looked ok

still looking...

so far ive been thinking either a maw 12 (if i can ever find one) , RE SR and maybe a used ssd? how would a ssd do off 350-400wrms? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

twas torrentaudio and they dont sell them anymore. i think they were single 4 ohm anyways.

i dont think ive ever been this undecided about a sub.

How about a Phoenix Gold RSD12 (SVC - cheap) or an RSDC-124 (DVC - a bit more)? I put a 10" DVC version in a friend's truck this weekend and it sounds pretty good - I was pretty impressed given a .6 sealed, ported would have obviously given a lot more output.

These are supposed to be pretty good bang for the buck in 12's - have you looked at them?
