Ok, I'm new to the big systems so please bare with me lol. I just got two, SA-15 D2 - Sundown Audio 15" 600W DVC 2-Ohm SA Series Subwoofers. My question is what amp should I get to power these? thanks!
x2Remember folks he has 2 dual 2 ohm subs he needs a 1500-2000 watt amp stable at .5 or 2 ohm to match his subs.
Lurk around this site and search for anything you might not know, you will lean a lot in a weeks time.thanks for your advice. the guys I talked to first said that a 2000 watt or a 1500 watt amp would be ok too. so what I need to get is a 2000 watt monoblock amp correct? see i was under the impression that a mono amp just ran one speaker, but i've seen one mono block running two subs. I guess that depends on wiring them together? and the different ways you wire them up decides ohms right? since my speakers are dual 2 ohm. so if i get a 2000 watt at 2 ohms monoblock amp how would I wire the subs to the amp? thanks
