I have purchased a Sundown sa-10 2 ohm for my 2011 nissan altima coupe, i have a few issues i have been trying to figure out and could use some suggestions. First of all is the enclosure, i designed one on the RE Audio calculator for 11.5" on height which is about as high as i can go, 1.65 cu ft and 35 htz. Then there is the option of buying the Zenclosure which is a pre made sealed box made just for my car. I know i'm looking at spl with ported and sq with sealed, honestly i'm not picky and just want it to sound good inside the car and really be able to feel the bass in my seat. Now my other issue is what amp, i have a kicker sx1250 digital but it requires 2 gauge wire which i'm worried that is going to draw to many amps and i'm trying to avoid upgrading the alternator and battery for now. So i guess i'm looking for an amp i can run 4 gauge wire but still put some power to the sub. Any suggestions?

I would suggest picking up 4 gauge or 1/0 to run in your car, also I would suggest going a head and doing the "big 3". Simply running that amp on the SA at a conservative level should net a great result with minimal wear and tear on the car itself.

For the enclosure the RE calc is a horrible tool and I do not suggest going by that. I also do not ever suggest purchasing a prefab ported enclosure. The better option is to design an enclosure around your application, product, and goals. For example your setup would be best if you used a high efficiency enclosure so you can use less power and still get an good overall sound/output.

I can help you with the big 3. I have plenty of access to altimas to get the correct length of wire if you wanna do so. Pm me

In the future i will do the big 3 but for now i would like to avoid it atleast until my warranty is up, I know this limits my options but there has to be something out there that will work on a 4 gauge wiring kit, maybe a 1000.1 or 750.1 amp? Pro-Rabbit i for sure want you to build me an enclosure.
