Need some suggestions - 77 ***** Am

Looking to put together a new stereo for a 77 T/A. Plans are some 6.5" speakers up front, likely components, a pair of 6x9's in the package tray, and I have a Treo SS10.22 sub lying around. Need suggestion on an amp or two, either multi channel or separate amps for the speakers/sub and speaker suggestions. Not looking to go top of the line, not looking to cheap out, but don't necessarily have a set budget. Just want to balance quality vs cost. Mostly listen to rock, some hip hop. I'm getting fairly overloaded with the huge variety of choices out there and the different reviews on components. Suggestions?

I'd recommend getting A pair of 6.5"splits for the front and a set of 6.5"coaxals for the rear shelf, along with your sub, you can either get a nice 5 chan amp or a four channel amp and a mono block amp for the sub.

yea some phd fb 6.1 pros , or cdt cdt hd 61a for speakers in the doors ,a set or single dc lvl 3 or 4 10 in a ported box on 2000 rms , a decent 2 channel amp for the components like 100 rms x 2 or a 4 channel bridged . i have the subs and sub amp , can order the speakers .really need to know what you want from the new system and a budget

Id def keep the idea of a set of 6x9s in the rear deck. I might catch flack for that statement but the mid bass from a good set of 6x9s in the F-body is cannot be beat! Ive literally owned a dozen or more of these cars and never really needed subs, well this may be a weight concern too. Nothin like the whip of an f-body limited slip diff.
