Need some suggestion on what sub I should get

Ok im lookin to replace my 12w6v2 i had it for about 3 years and the other day the foam surround tore, ive seem to have fix it with some silicone but im seriously considering a new sub with more output and deeper bass note reproduction without changin my box or my amp....I have a mtx 6500d amp which does near 800 watts@ 2ohm at 14 v and a 2.0 cuft box tuned at 31 hz i dont really wanna spend over 300$ but if so not by very much thx...

For 300 and your system requirements I think the w6 might be the best choice. Anything better IMO is going to be significantly more expensive and a cheaper product like a type r isn't up there with the JL sound quality wise IMO. Elemental designs has had good reviews from some "inside the scene" guys I know but their 12" they call a 13" may not fit with your current box. At least worth checking out IMO, here you can read about people on both sides elemental designs and go from there. Good luck.
