So I am in the process of potentially re-doing my sub setup. I have an '02 Silverado 2500 quad cab. My sub setup is cheap and sounds ok at best. (2) Power Acoustik 10's powered by a Crunch "Powerzone 1000.1". The pre fab box the subs are in is WAY under spec in terms of airspace. So needless to say, I could use a complete makeover.

I could easily make my own, but was thinking of doing the center console setup wether it be a pre-fab or custom.
That being said, i was thinking of running a 10 or 12 JLW7 and using a Crunch GP3000-d Pro to power it. Both of these components are just a thought, where as Im pretty set on the center console box. Im fairly new to the car audio scene, so please let me know if there are comprable subs/amps that would be better for the 700-800 Im looking to spend (the amp new runs around $450 and I see the W7's used all day long for around $250).
