Need some quick opinions.

Hi all, second time I've really been on these forums. Always good to be here.

 

Anywho, my sister needs some new speakers for her car, she blew all of the stock speakers and she's having a bad time.

She drives an 05 Hyundai Sonata with an aftermarket Pioneer DEH-3400UB HU.

Needs 4 speakers, simple is better, no need for extra tweeters or anything.

Price range

I've been looking around at sonicelectronix, crutchfield, onlinecarstereo, and techtronics, and quite frankly, I have no idea what to look for with best bang for my buck, so to speak.

 

Help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Incorrectly set gains on the amp(s)??

But if you're looking for the "best bang for your buck" I wouldn't be expecting to find that at Crutchfield, SonicElectronix, etc. Check the Classifieds section...

I really don't know. They were pretty bad when she bought the car, they're all junk now. The cones are all blown out.

They were the stock speakers.

Gonna be hard to get any help/suggestions without a lot more info.

What size speakers? Wishing to do direct-bolt replacement in the Sonata, or willing to build a baffle to fit, say, a 6.5" in a 6x9 mount? Door mount, kickpanel, or rear deck? Looking for SPL , SQL, or SQ? Desiring more subbass or midbass? Components or coaxials? etc, etc, etc.

Suggest you also do some reading in the Reviews section, here, and/or on Crutchfield, Sonic, and so on.

Use that info to see what others are running with their Pioneer DEH-3400UB and/or in an '05 Sonata to try to narrow down to a short list of possibilities.

Look into budget speakers like Pioneer D-series, or Boston S or SE series
