Need some opinions.....

Ok, I want to make sure i'm not wandering the wrong path of subs. I'm on a budget and i've been looking to get a couple 12's or 1 15" for under $200. My goal is to put together a low wattage system(600 watts and under) but sound the loudest I can for it but still sound decent in SQ(not complete crap). I don't have an amp right now nor a box. But my trunk space is L:28" H:19" D:18".

Now I was down to 2 options, either getting 2 memphis PR 12's or 2 RE Audio SR 12's. So is there anything I could get that would be louder in my budget? I'm open to any opinions/suggestions. thanks,

Out of the two you had listed I would go with the RE's. There are alot of different budget systems that can sound good. Dont rule out going with 1 12". A nice ported box can do wonders with a single 12".

With those dims you gave, you'll want to shoot with a box under 4.4cuft internal displacement (assuming 3/4" MDF). And even that's going to take up all of the space...

a 15 in a big ported box will get stupid loud. 4-5 cubes.
