Need some opinions on amp

I have 2 Alpine Type-r dual 2 ohm 12's, they're rated 500 rms 1500 max each in a 3.6 cu. ft. ported box and right now i have a very cheap 700 rms amp running them both and they sound alright but i am looking for a new amp for my setup.

I figured since the Type-r is a pretty popular woofer that some of you guys might have a good suggestion for an amp to power mine. My price range is up to about $400 on this amp because i will have to replace wiring to 1/0 probably after i get a new amp so i need to save some for that too. Thanks for the idea but the only problem, which i forgot to put in the post, is that i would like at least 1000 rms at 2 ohms since my type-r's are 2 ohm and not 4. I'm gonna wire at 2 ohm so need the rms to be at 2 ohms as well.

Audiopipe AP1500D puts out 950 @ 2 you could look into it
