Need some ipipe help..

The only subs that they have with 3 in coils are the txxapx15 and the txxsq subs and the txxdmz15 all the 12s are 2.5 in coils in the txxap series
they have the 12" txxapx series though as well and i'm fairly sure those are 3" coils.they seem to be a lot harder to get than the ap line.. lol.

and yea the spl ones would have been great to got except for coil configs.

Yea the old ones are disco i believe since the eye candy are the same subs and also come in black and white and the tmz series replacing the old ipipes. Id call ap to find out for sure, i pulled all the info i posted directly from my dealer book for ap.

i'll have to give them a ring, so what is the most current subs matching the one I want? so I didn't misread... do they still make the current ipipes or are they all eyecandy now?

Ill call my rep and find out for sure

The old txxap10b ipipes ran up to a 10 only, the 12s and 15s where falling apart. The eyecandy txxapx12b will still be available and basicly a replacment in blk and wht for the older ipipe subs.But the txxbd series is a better sub, 2.5 in coil just like the eyecandy/ipipe 12s.

PAIR AUDIOPIPE TXXBD12 12" 3000W Car Audio Subwoofers on eBay!

so do the 12s have the 3" coil on the apx line? and the 2.5 is ap? just wanting a confirmation on this.. also.. can you sell them to me or do I have to be in your state for a sale?

On their web sight, it shows the txxap are the 10's and the txxapx are the 12's and 15's with 3" voice coils. I was about to pick up a txx-apx12BL if that is the case. Does anyone have a 2010 catalog from audiopipe?
yea they hadn't updated that catalog on their site for a while, I had been wanting one as well man.

They are hard to beat for the money on a 3" coil woofer. I'll be fully testing mine when I Finally decide to order them up. 3k each should put them through their rounds lol.. doubt i'll get near that though with my electrical limits.

APX = 3" COIL

AP =2.5" COIL

DMZ = BEJEWELED AP NO LOUDER

BD= BC REPLACEMENT

you have a freak thing happen with the motor comming of. i have seen plenty of re audio subs with the same thing happening, chinaman falling asleep.

the bd gets loud. you will reach mech limits before thermal anyway. just because a sub has a 3" coil dosent mean it is optimised to reach its fullest. the bd is louder than a se of the same size, the bd coil will handle way more than the se will too.

i got a bd 10" to top out 141.7 and thats as loud as it would get i did kill it after a while(broke the former, with 3k on tap). the se was topped out at 141.3 then rebuilt and would do a 143.3.

Ok i see, the bd 12 is rated at 700 watts rms and the txx-apx is rated at 800 rms. The only thing i see is the bd has a 150oz magnent compare to the txxapx. i have two of the ap mini 1300 series and i wanted to get one of the ap subs for testing purpose before i get the ap spl version with the recone kit.
