right now I have PG ZR6.5's in kicks powered by a Clarion APX200.2 and my stock 4x6 replaced with some pioneers(4). For subbs I got two RE RE 12's each in about 1.2 cubes each maybe a little less and they are powered by a Clarion DPX1000.2 with about 250 going to each one. Well im ready to upgrade....im starting to get a little more serious with my truck and am going to make a show vehicle outta it so glassn new door panels with led's, lights, the works. anyway...
i plan on having another set of the PG's and moving my ones in the kicks to the doors, so 2 sets of speakers in each door, and for the sub im going to have a 15" 05 Alpine Type R powered by a HiFonics BX1000d with about 1000w @ 1 ohm.
If I like the Alpine sub I am going to get 2 more with 2 more Hifonics and maybe hit some decent numbers.
1. Will I have a problem running the amp at 1 ohm as a daily driver, every day.
2. I want to put an amp in each door, anybody know a good amp that I can use on a set of those PG's(need around 100wrms to each set)
3. Any suggestions on box recommendations? I am aiming for more SPL so I was thinking of tuning to 40-45. This is my first ported box but I can handle it.
