Need some input on choosing a sub

most reliable 12" sub for $375 or under and 1000 rms or more friend wants it loud but pretty clear i dont like using the SQL term though. ive narrowed my search to tc sounds lms-r 12, dc level 3, IA lethal injection or death row, DD audio redline 700, soundqubed hdc3, sound splinter RLP, ssa icon, fi ssd or q series. will be having PWK designs doing box design, I'm just indecisive and havent heard all of these yet.
