Need some ideas

You dont have to use flares if that is easier for you... You could just leace it outside of the box a little just make sure its sealed well
hmm.. so i need to have the port firing forwards? no doubt about it?

You could go up if you have the height but we need more exact measurements...
accounting for 3/4" mdf..

it will be 21.5" long' date=' 10" wide, and 19.25" tall (accounts for 2" downfire space).

where the speakers mount, it will be 11.5" wide. i am accounting for airspace measurements for the 10" part. for basket mounting measurements it will be 10".

as long as you have a good 3 inches behind the box u can still fire the port to the rear
definitely will not. its a super tight fit.

only 20" long?

i edited the post. accounting for the mdf it will only be 20" long yes. the baskets will practically be touching eachother, but they will fit.

thanks a lot guys for your insight so far. im just getting off nightshift at work- time for bed. i will be on later to check up. this is awesome.

when you get back on get in touch with one of the box designers on here they can help u alot more than we can and for a small fee they can give you cut sheets and 3d modeling of the box they design for u. prorabbit, mobileenclosure, buck and a few other guys have more experience with designing thani do

been doing some research on this and that. it would be hard for them to design my enclosure without the truck being around. the calculations i just worked out actually led me to around 2.1-2.3cf3 on the airspace. i could port it with a 3" aero port by about 19" long. this opens my horizon a little. some of the guys at diyma were telling me maybe the type R's might be better? i didnt hear much good about these. i am thinking maybe the icons or image dynamics now. any thing you guys could recommend?

ok thats it. im porting two IDQ10V3.D2's. im thinking the precision power 1000.1 amp - or whatever i can get for my trade in at a local stereo store. i will update.
