Need some ideals

I want to stay a trunk car for the sake of being a daily driver but I want to be louder than I am.

I'm running 1 12 in the trunk port forward sub forward not sealed as speak. Box is 3.10 tuned at 38hz with a huge slot port. I was running a Tantric HD and swapped it out for a custom 12 by SPL Audio 3000Wrms but I still can't break over the mid 140's seems like the more I do the less output I get. The last time I metered it did a 142 in the kick at 36hz and keeps a solid 140 legal in the center of the windshield

I have tried different amps Soundstream TA3000.1 and my current amp Mmats M3000.1 both have the same results.

What are some things I can do? add another sub? I can't fit anything larger in my trunk unless I fire the sub up and my current box fills up almost the whole trunk.

I was thinking maybe two lower rms subs to have head room.

my daughter just bought one .you can do 2 12s but you'll need to build the box in the trunk

Sounds like a PITA. Do you think Id notice a difference with two 10s. I might be able to do 3 but it would have to be E10s

why dont you try sealing it and see what that gets you
