what sub is it? you didn't give enough info for me at least of what you want. try http://www.carstereo.com and go to the help or enclosure design and it has some info on box building and other car audio things. that site might have your answer. what do you meen by bass box? do you meen ported? because if you want it loud than go with ported.

well the speaker is pioneer 10" it`s peak power is 400W .

sealed is just that - sealed. ported is sealed with a hole in it. look at some of the sealed vs. ported threads in these forums.
