Need some help

I just installed a system in a 2002 santa fe yesterday and everything went good. Stereo sounds awesome- 2 12" Type R's on a BX1608d.. Orion Cobalt components front/back. BUT the dash lights mysterously stopped working... And I'm at a loss I cant think of anything that I touched accidently or grounding out something. I just need a place to start checking-thanks in advance

When my power mirrors stopped working, it was a 5 cent fuse in the fuse box..

turn the headlight's on dose the deck shut off??

did you hardwire the headunit wire harness to the factory harness by cutting off the factory plug??

if so, then you wired ground to the illumintation curcit that rest's at ground then flips to + when the headlights are turned on.
