Need some Help

Well i am installing a alpine 9883 in a 1998 ford expedition, i wire up and the harness and installed it and the unit powered on but no sound came from the speakers at all. I dont know what to do.

I checked and all wires are connected properly, but i am thinking maybe this harness isn't correct because my expo has the mach audio system but all the wires still match up but there are to connectors on the harness that do not connect to anything. Could that be the problem. Any help is appreciated

I would double check the harness.

Sounds like your factory amp isn't working correctly. Most likely as simple as a remote wire somewhere.

can i ground my factory amp to the my head units ground?

Thanks for the help man i got it fixed, it was the factory amplifier not being grounded.
