Need some harsh LOUD "ticky" tweets.

infinity tweets can get pretty loud. I have the reference tweets, they scream pretty good for some cheap tweets. Cheap comp set (mids **** ***) but if you can find a set of the ref tweets for cheap pick them up.

Put them up on the A or B pillar (as stated before) and let that fingernail on chalkboard sound roll

those dont get that loud, not as loud as my recommendations, but those do sound better, especially with my bass guitar cabinets.

That one?

I'll keep it in mind.

Thats all fine and well, but these need to mount on the A or B pillar. Not in the rear or front decks. Looking for some basic 1" dome tweets.

Need to have a fast attack...i guess thats what you would call it (compared to a sub).

put one of those in his auto mobile

what is a "tick" as I've never heard that term used to describe tweeters? Look into some metal domes as most of them are pretty bright. Run multiple tweeters and put them on axis...
Yes, I have always called it 'bright' too. Or sharp.

I'm so used to smoothing out my tweets to get rid of this kind of sound that I am having a hard time getting his 'best' sound right. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

x2

Get a pair of reference tweeters and set the crossover to +3db (or 0db, I forget how its labeled). I ran my old 6820cs tweeters set at +3 for awhile and it literally made me cringe on the "ssshhhhhhhhhh" type sounds. Trance music was brutal at loud volumes.

Set the crossover to -3db and it was like night and day. Those tweeters have the potential to make your ears bleed while also having the potential to sound quite nice.

EDIT:

Looking for some basic dome 1" tweets.

I would hope that all tweeters would have a faster impulse time than any subwoofer. What kind of vehicle? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

MB Quart titanium tweeters can be as harsh as you want them to be. Just give em the power.

(And as I side note, I'm not the average dude who automatically associates MBQ with harsh, even though I've never heard them. I've run many of their speakers and the highs can be quite smooth if installed and tuned correctly //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif)

Those are loud, and around the same size. I know alot of guys who hate pro audio that actually like those tweeters. They are bright just like any other horn/bullet tweeter, but still sound pretty good.

If the guy wants just flat out rediculous loud, gotta get horns. These Seleniums will make you shit your pants. They play pretty low too, so they get the vocals loud as hell too.

Use this horn driver with this horn. Give them a ton of power.
