The I just bought SUV, being large and all, doesn't have a lot of room for amps since one of the seats moves back to allow access to the 3rd row, and the 3rd row is right into the frame, not above like the 2nd row. I got 2 amps ATM, I can fit one under the 2nd row, but I still need a place for the 2nd Amp.
Now I thought of some ideas, but wanna go over them with someone who knows what they are doing so I don't damage or overheat my amps.
First off, I know you should NEVER put you amp upside down, but what about on its side? What if I make air holes in its side to allow the hot air to escape upwards?
Can I build something that will allow an amp to be built above another, hard to explain what I mean on this one, like have one amp mounted to the floor, then a piece of wood supported above the amp that has another amp on it. Or will to much hot air get stuck on the below amp?
Another Idea I had was to put the amps in the 3rd row, but have a piece of kinda 'fish net' metal above that amp that people can walk on that will allow air flow, but strong enough it won't break if someone were to sit or stand in the 3rd row.
